After working on storyboards, direction, and animation for Ojarumaru, Nintama Rantaro and Naruto Shippuden, he debuted as director for Hina Logic. Later, he directed/storyboarded the Teasing Master Takagi-san series, and for The Dangers in My Heart, was praised for his careful direction in depicting school romance and daily life. He also directed and storyboarded Combatants Will Be Dispatched! and Those Snow White Notes. Also served as chief director for GaruGaku: St. Girls Square Academy.
